Good stuff.
This is my second set in less than 5 years. When they work, they work well. Obviously my first replacement set didn't meet my time expectations, so I had to do it again. BUT.....the price is a TON less than OEM parts, so I'm ok with it all. Thanks guys!

Stabilus Lift-O-Mat gas springs for Prius
These are great replacements for the OEM springs, and will keep you from bumping your head on a partially-raised tailgate. Seem to only last three years for me, but customer support cheerfully and promptly sent me a new set when I reported the early failure.
