Trunk n Bass

Do you have the speakers and amp you’ve always wanted? Maybe it’s time to upgrade your BMW for summer. If you are going to replace your lift support struts, you probably should make sure your speakers are just right. Depending upon the type of vibration you are looking for, the speaker box needs to fit your ideals of sound emission.

Speaker Box Types and Sounds:

• Free-Air Subwoofer - No box necessary, so if you want more bass but still need to keep your trunk room, this is your best option.
• Sealed - A sealed subwoofer pours out constricted bass without the “boom”. This type fits better in smaller vehicles/trunks.
• Ported - Amazing booming sound with carved out areas for maximum air flow. May work best with larger vehicles/trunks.
• Bandpass - If you want the maximum sound get a bandpass subwoofer, which is just a better “ported” version. Make sure you have enough trunk room, or just don’t need the extra space for anything.

If you don’t have the time to use a headlight restoration cleaner, you may want to replace your headlights completely. The reason why is the headlights must be reset to their original alignment so that the lights shine directly on the road in front of you instead of in another person’s eyes.
