A Three Step Process
-
The first step of the process for how to install gas lift struts involves removing the damaged strut before replacing it. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the lift support clips. Once removed you can pull the ball of the strut off the joint and remove the strut out of the car.
-
With the strut removed, you can move on to the second step of the process.
