Boat Engine Compartment Lid
was concerned when I ordered these because, unlike car model matching, I had to rely on my own measurements and specs. I measured the length of the existing support as closely as possible and then found that even a slightly incorrect measurement would likely lead to the correct model.
Since the lid is a substantial fiberglass platform I opted to go with the most capable support, the 150 lb version. While they certainly work it requires a bit of force to lower it into the closed position and it actually stays a fraction of an inch lifted.
In a similar situation less lifting capability would be adequate.
Easy installation, not sure if I got lucky on the balls mounted on the boat or if they are fairly standard.
All in all VERY SATISFIED!!! -
