Correct fit
This was awesome, I spent several hours and two trip to auto parts to find the right support. Then I read on here how to measure the correct one. I ordered exactly what I measured. when it arrived a couple days later I was excited that it was an excellent fit and exactly as descirbed. Thank you.

SE200P30-W and SE200P70-W
I have ordered and installed two sets of lift supports. They are SE200P70-W and SE200P30-W. I tested both for compression and both tested strong. The 30 pounds tested 45 pounds and the 70 pounds tested 90 pounds at vertical. My suggestion to anyone buying lift supports is to be aware that the stated rating will be different than the actual rating. Although this exercise did not work out exactly as I had intended, Lifts Support Depot was helpful during this project on my 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk hood. I will keep the current supports, 30 pounds, in my project until my linear actuators come in. I now think the linear actuators may work best in this situation. I would buy from Lift Supports Depot again and recommend Lift Supports Depot to others. Fast delivery, great product, and excellent customer service.

I have ordered online a number of lift supports from Supports Depot and the online catalog and search engine are the best I have used! I have attempted to use NAPA and Auto Zone but they don't allow a search unless you give them the year, make and model of the car or light truck. Lift supports are used in many other products such as boats or office furniture. Your catalog allows me to search based on compressed/expanded length, pressure and end fittings.
