I was skeptic at first because I wasn’t sure what I would need for my GX470 rear door. Further research, I have found Lift Support online. After purchasing the multipurpose lift support. I received an email to assist with installation. Also received a call for pick up, when I notified them that it is for delivery, no questions were asked and they sent the product prompt. My rear door stays open with no issues. Glad I found this website!

Pretty good strut

I modified the rear door on my Lexus SUV to replace the restraint to a strut and this works great. The only complaint I have is I should have gotten one with a little more damping as the strut is strong enough to push the door open and kind of slams it open.
