Perfect for 2001 4Runner rear lift gate
My lift gate was constantly falling on my had and after installing these it is good as new. They are very strong and keep the lift gate up no problem!

Fit correctly
Easy to change. Have a helper or a 2x4 handy so it doesnt come down on your head. The helper can keep an eye out for the e-clips in case they shoot off in a random direction when you are taking out the old struts.
We noticed that the diameter of the struts were a good deal narrower than the originals. Once the winter temps chill them out we'll see if they work or not. -
